Join one of our relaxed informative wine tours. You will be taken through some of the oldest vines in Central Otago, learn about our roots. All of our tours will take you inside the largest wine cave in New Zealand, so you can soak up the atmosphere while tasting our range of premium hand crafted wines.

The Gibbston Valley Experience
Gibbston Valley Winery and Restaurant is a short trip out of Queenstown, accessible via State Highway 6, or our bus runs regularly 7 days a week with pick ups and drop offs in Queenstown and Arrowtown.
Winery tourism has been central to our business from our early days, we run regular winery tours that give you the history of the Central Otago Pinot industry and how it has evolved.
Our Winery Restaurant is open daily from noon until 3pm. From small plates to mains, each dish is designed to complement our premium, handcrafted Central Otago wines.
Gibbston’s bike trails take you through the beautiful Central Otago wine region and to various attractions including the historic Kawarau Suspension Bridge and nearby wineries. Part of the Queenstown Trail, the Gibbston River Trail is located across the street from Gibbston Valley.
We have a fleet of hard tail and full suspension bikes to suit all abilities of riders for hire, plus a range of eBikes. Our bikes cater to riders 5 years of age and older.
Signage along the trail makes it easy to find your way to and from the winery, giving riders convenient access to some of the region's best wine and food.
